No electrician. If you can clip a cable and open an app, you can do this.

Find the output on your turbine controller or inverter. Most home turbines use a standard inverter with a data port.

Clip the gateway on. If you also have solar, one gateway reads both.
- Step 3
Set a floor. Wind sells in off-peak hours, so a lower floor clears more blocks.
Wind is the odd one out: it sells when nothing else does. Overnight, in winter, during storms. Prices in those hours are lower than the evening peak, but there are far fewer sellers, so almost every block clears.
Best with solar
A turbine and a roof cover different hours of the day and different seasons. Together they list surplus in most blocks of the year, which is why farm and rural sellers with both tend to earn the most consistent payouts on the board.
Who buys at night
Utilities, mostly, topping up overnight. Data centres and cold stores are steady night buyers too.
